Stream Assessment

Stream Assessment is a valuable first step towards stream restoration. While we are not equipped to test for all parameters that may be impacting a stream, our methodology includes visual habitat assessment and benthic macroinvertebrate surveys, both of which are based on EPA protocols. Additionally, assessing culverts and road crossings in streams allows us to gather further information.

By applying these methods while we are out in the field, we can get a baseline for overall stream health and assess issues for future restoration. Visit our snapshot assessment page to get more information on watersheds we have assessed!
